navigation

The various mapping systems depend on data provided by states and counties --- I wonder if the authorities in you area have been accurate with the data they provide?

Don't enter your home address in the nav system for security reasons. Use an address close to you and give it a pseudonym. Use that for return navigation to your home.

You'll get more help here once you become rational.
Don't think '14 maps are NAVTEQ? Plug your model info in here. There is also a link there to provide corrections.
NAVTEQ currently does maps for MB, Audi, Acura/Honda, VW, Garmin and a host of other car companies. The map data is all the same, but the implementation/routing may be different depending on the manufacturer of the devices.
Before you go off half cocked about cheap data, you might want to do your research first.
I'll be happy to respond once you calm down and stop frothing at the mouth.

However, there are two ways to save the address in the navigation system that do not involve entering the address.
1. While at the location, you can save the car's location as a destination.
2. Find the GPS coordinates and enter them as the location. You can find the GPS coordinates using http://www.gps-coordinates.net/ and at the bottom of the Destination list, select enter geo-coordinates
Both of these should work for you. The instructions are also found in your COMAND manual or here
Hope this helps.
