The new SpunForged™ series is our first ever Rotary Forged product line which fuses flow forming technology with our state of the art manufacturing processes to bring forth a luxury, concave monoblock series that offers not only our iconic & sophisticated design philosophy but also an industry leading lightweight architecture.

Behind every MORR wheel there is a facet of engineering involved in the design. We analyze every component of each design to make sure our wheels are as optimized as possible for weight reduction while maintaining optimal strength and structural integrity. This methodology allows us to create the signature lightness that has been synonymous with our brand for nearly 10 years. By implementing techniques such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Vehicle Specific Load Ratings (VSLR) and Vehicle Specific Weight Optimization (VSWO), the new FS77 is able to achieve weighs of approximately 9.31-kg (20.56-lbs) for a 19-inch wheel, making it nearly 1.00-kg (2.00-lbs) lighter than its nearest competitor.

Our new SpunForged™ line is the lightest and most versatile Rotary Forged product line available with a combination of over 67 fitments, ranging from 18” - 20”, covering nearly 100 European, Domestic & Asian applications including BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, Infiniti, Acura, Chevrolet, and Ford, amongst many others, and a selection of three standard finishes; Satin Black, Metallic Silver and Satin Gunmetal with an array of multiple optional finishes. *

All of our wheels conform to the strict international standards of wheel quality and manufacturing, which include VIA/JWL and TuV-Rheinland. Our SpunForged™ FS77 is rated at the new safety standard of 690-kg (1518-lbs) per corner. The FS77 is also subject to extensive Rotary Bending Fatigue, 13-degree Impact @ 0-degrees, 13-degree impact @ spoke, Radial Load Endurance and Radial Load Fatigue physical testing.

 

 

 

For this introduction, we have chosen the FS77, a 7-spoke mesh concave design that features a deep concave profile, machined deep center, machined spokes and a weight optimized version of our signature outer flange. The FS77 is in essence the reincarnation of our iconic VS8.2 design.
