Help with 2012 E350 purchase!!

New to MB, will be making a decision to purchase next week, but need your help.! We can't get a clear explanation from any MB dealer what's the appearance differance between 2012 Sport and Luxury. Is it the two tone interior on sport? Is it the 3 spoke steering wheel? Wheels? The body and grills look the same on both. Also where are all the option codes located on the 2011 E350? Thanks all

Not sure about the option codes, but below is what was different in 2010 between Luxury and Sports.

Luxury (AKA Elegance): four bar grille (vs. three on sports); lower bumper grille opening angles outward at top (vs. inward on Sports); “bright” trim on front and rear bumpers; 17” split 5 spoke wheels with all-season tires; comfort suspension; black instrument cluster surround; monochromatic interior; oval exhausts. Leather/wood steering wheel was a $580 option available only on the Luxury version.
My Monroney window sticker does show a "167 Luxury Package: Comfort Supension, Burl Walnut Wood Trim, Black Instrument Cluster Surround" However, the grille, lower bumper openings, bright exterior trim, wheels and tires and interior are also different.
But this was in 2010, so not sure about 2012.
Maybe someone else has better information. Surprised you have an option on two year models since far fewer Luxury versions were sold.
Most important difference is that the Luxury version rides much more comfortably than the Sports version. Not only the suspension, but also the difference in wheels and tires. Happy Motoring!

I kinda think Mercedes wasn't consistent on some of these or something because my 2012 sport has some of the appearance features yet not all (has a 4 bar grill and 4 spoke steering wheel)
