Better check on that.

Did I say "nobody else"? Don't think so.

German cars feel at home at higher cruising speeds compared to most other cars. Can you really argue with that?

Yeah, I'd argue that but we're getting so far OT that it's crazy now...

Good point. Left lane hogs are a sensitive topic that usually get arguments going.

There are two types of drivers on the road: A..holes and maniacs. The a..holes are those going slower than you, and the maniacs are those going faster.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I have no problem with people who want to be cautious and drive at the limit. Absolutely NOTHING is wrong with that.

However, if you are in the left lane or even 2nd to left lane and the freeway is pretty empty and you are doing the limit, that's a problem. More accurately, if you are in the left lane and someone is coming up behind you rather quickly MOVE OVER!!! This isn't rocket science, have some common decency to allow someone who feels more comfortable at a higher speed than yourself to pass. If the driver coming up behind you flashes their lights at you to move over, don't be the hero and slam on the brakes or slow down. The term "Flash-To-Pass" came around for a reason, SHARE THE ROAD!

Exactly, the road is for everyone's use and the more we accommodate the other road users the safer we all will be. Please don't be that self appointed speed limit enforcer. We have absolutely no problem in moving over to slower lane if other cars come up behind us. After all we are driving a Mercedes .

The world would be a much better place if everyone would just practice "Keep Right, Except to Pass." There's no need for an art project on the rear sunshade.

I get frustrated by left lane cloggers but I just let them be. I often just tolerate whatever on the road and I can go a month plus without honking my horn even times when it's needed. I feel like the internet and behind the wheel everyone becomes a tough guy. So I just go around or sit behind them and let it ride literally
