2014 E350 Wagon Towing Capacity

I would like to install a trailer hitch on my 2014 E350 Wagon and (1) am having an impossible time finding out the vehicles towing capacity; and (2) looking for a recommendation for a trailer hitch kit.

Thanks!

dbbarron,

MBUSA does not sell a hitch for the US hence no listed towing capacity. However they do sell one in Europe and the towing capacity is 2,100 kg which is 4,600 lbs but the tongue weight is only 80-88 kg depending on the aftermarket towbar you purchase which is only 76 to 194 lbs which is about normal for a class I tow hitch in the US (200 lbs).

The long answer is this: http://oppositelock.jalopnik.com/tow-me-down-1609112611

I personally installed a Euro hitch that I got modified for a US 2" receiver hitch and personally have no issues/concerns towing with it up to 2,000 lbs all day any day. My 5x8 trailer is rated up to 3,500 lbs but I would not feel comfortable towing much more than 2,000 lbs with it.
