Sprint Booster
Hi everyone,
I just wanted to take a quick minute and give you feedback on the recently installed Sprint Booster in my E550.
From what I've read there is many differing opinions on this product. Coming from someone who is actually using it in his MB, I can tell you that this is a great addition to my car. I wasn't overly dissatisfied with my car, but this makes a noticeable difference in pedal sensitivity and the car actually feels faster when driving it. (Yes, I know the car is not actually faster) It definitely makes it feel like there is consistent power on tap with a slight push of the pedal without delay.
I was always slightly irritated with the slight delay in the cars performance when you push the pedal down and this product has completely removed that.
In my opinion this is a great addition to your Mercedes and provides a significant difference in the overall driving experience. Hope this helped.

Merc should make the SPORT button actually do something other than subtly change the tranny programming. It should tighten up the steering and wake up the accelerator - both of which are electrical systems, iirc. We shouldn't have to resort to a Sprint Booster to get satisfaction.

I'm also happy with the Sprint Booster on our E550 coupe. The car is plenty fast, I just want it to start moving when I start pushing on the pedal. Now it does. What a concept.
