1. Should a Mercedes Benz Fanatic by the name of Arrie be able to post on this web site to tell another member to Shut UP because Arrie does not want him to complain about his cars navigation?
2.Should the webmasters on this site ban or suspend ARRIE from further posts.
3. BY checking prior posts of ARRIE you will see that ARRIE has done the same or similar to other members and should he be allowed to continue?

If he upsets you that much you should learn to use the "ignore" function. Then you won't see any more of his posts.

You should read your own posts before criticizing others. I never called you a "wimpy idiot" but you seem to think it is ok for you to call me that.


If you read all of my posts over they three years I have been on this forum you might realize that I actually may even have helped some folks around this forum. I don't remember one single post from you doing so. Only bad negative comments about the car and then strong criticisms against anyone who does not agree with you. Like you talk about a minor navigation glitch under MR reliability.


You also started bad mouthing about me when I said that I bought the sun glass holder thru my dealer pars department when you was not able to do so. In your super man brain I must be telling a lie because you cannot order that part from your dealer so everybody must have the same situation. Well, I was able to order it, period.


You also said in your latest post about the navigation that you tried that but it did not work. If you mean you tried to save your car position as home position when the car was at home then you have no idea how to use the navi system in your car. Or the system does not allow saving any position but by your posts the issue is only with your home location so you probably don't know how to use it.


I'm pretty much done with this forum. I have better things to do than argue with a pest like you. Have a good life with the car you regret so badly buying. I guess you can't afford owning it and that is your real problem.

IMO: A little civility goes a long way (on both sides). If you have a problem with another poster, take it offline and if it cannot be resolved and you have what you believe to be a "legitimate" complaint, take it to the board administrator. If you really insist on posting, at least do it in the "General Forums/Off Topic" area. It's better not to clog the main boards with dirty laundry.

I generally find Arrie's posts to be informative and his rebuttals well thought out.

The intent was for a poll. I wish there was an ignore button or a block button for certain members but I cannot find it. I will have to just try and Ignore this bad one on the forum. It is a shame how some people get their kicks. I tried to embarrass him but a person like him just does not get it. This forum is meant to help not make fun of someone. I hate stooping to his low standard but it aggravates me when someone thinks they are above everyone else. Oh well such is life.

1. Go to one of his posts and click on his username.
2. Select "view public profile"
3. On his public profile page click on "User Lists"
4. Select "Add to Ignore List"

You have issues with someone you click the report to moderator button or ignore them. If you don't know how to do something (ignore), you search or ask (after you searched).

Starting this type of thread will not solve the self perceived issue.
