Pic of total idiot parking job

I have had few parking incidents since becoming a Mercedes owner. They both resulted in door dings. At least I saw the guy in the beat up truck hit my SLK and his insurance paid for it.

I feel your pain...
First of all, We RARLEY take my car out when I know in advance the parking situation might be suspect. My wives truck usually fits the bill in these situations....However one Friday night we find ourselves out to dinner and in my 2011 E550. We enter the parking garage and I am casing for a suitable spot to park the rig. I find a great spot out of the way and with plenty of room on either side. Now, this garage does service a hotel and casino too. We (my wife and beautiful daughter) go in and have a marvelous steak dinner. You know the kind where no matter how big of a piece of cow I shove into my face it's tender and melts in your mouth. We all had our fill, paid the check and we were out the door. As we head back to the car I notice a car that is parked extremely close to us. Just like in the original poster's picture. I was expecting to see some sort of damage as I inspected the car. To my amazment I did not see anything. I could not believe my eyes!!! They must have been some type of Joey Chitwood to get a car that close to another without hitting it!! So, I climb over to the drivers seat and pull out inch by inch with my wives help. Now to the part that I'm not so proud of... It just so happened that we were all too full to finish our desserts and brought them with us. As soon as I was in the clear I snapped my fingers(no joke) and pointed to the take home bag and said in my best Clint Eastwood voice "gimme that cheesecake". My wive and daughter both stunned at my ability to somewhat hold it together to this point just handed over the cake. I took out the cake and smeared it on their windshield. Like I said, not my most proud moment however, I felt it was a proportional responce given the circumstances. Now, as I was pulling away I noticed a Macramé cross hanging form the rear view mirror. I figure I'm going straight to hell for this one....

As the original poster I suppose I should update everyone. After doing a little research it appears this guy was headed to my friends business...I guess he was in a hurry.
Sooooooo, my friend owns the mortgage brokerage firm, yup, you read that right, and, um.....Hope that parking spot was worth it.

I was in a public lot on a road trip and came out from the restaurant and someone had parked in such a way that i really had no way to get my car out of a corner spot i had picked to be safe. So i asked the parking attendant what could be done. He immediately asked is he on or over the line. I told him yes and he said perfect tow truck will be here in a few minutes. Less than 10 minutes later the BMW was on its way to the towing lot for not following the rules of the garage. Apparently on your way in there is a terms of use posted saying you must fit in the lines and not following any of the rules is subject to towing.
So I am sure the 745li driver was happy
