Blower motor?
Is it common for the blower motor to go out on a 2010 E350? Mine went out today and I want to see if it's a fuse, but I don't know where to find a labeling for the fuse panel.

Found the booklet for fuse labeling. Makes complete and total sense to put this little booklet in the trunk with the spare tire... Germans are crazy

Fuses
I am not home so I cannot check whether there is a fuse panel in the trunk of the sedans but there is one in a side panel as I recall in my wagon as well as the one under the hood.
If it was loose perhaps someone moved it.

I'm betting that it's not a fuse based on a 2012 I recently looked at which had had the blower replaced at a recent service. Hopefully you will be lucky.

Yes it's a common issue with these cars! Had the blower motor replaced at 62K miles (just before 100,000 km)! I got mine off www.autopartsway.ca since I'm in Canada for half the price of the dealer! Ebay has OE parts for cheaper too!

So, I took the car to my local mechanic for him to do tests and he found out that there's a TSB bulletin about this particular issue. I have to take the car to the dealer and there's some software update that needs to be performed that will keep the computer "talking" to the blower motor.

Reference bulletin LI83.30-P-056980 – blower fluctuates, loses power, or stops completely although highest blower speed is set, occurs mainly with a cold engine or during acceleration but stabilizes itself after a short time - update engine control unit software.
