Would a modified exhaust void CPO warranty?

Thoughts? thinking of removing my resonators. Did this on my CLK550 which is out of warr, and the sound was perfect. Thanks

This is a loaded question. Ultimately only Mercedes-Benz has the right to determine if the warranty gets upheld or not based on your modifications and the complaint you're having at the time.

Technically speaking the manufacture cannot void the entire car warranty unless the part that is a modification affects specific parts that are now problematic. I have read stories on this and other car forums of people with modified vehicles that had very good experiences with their dealerships and modifications and warranty service and also nightmares with the same type of modifications from other dealerships.. proceed at your own risk
