Quote: Wow, holy crap, talking about mind blown, lol. This is all so new and foreign to me; I had no idea the little insert in the side skirt is over 6 feet long, it doesn't look that long at all on the car.

On another note:
Because I have anxiety, I found a shop that was willing to do the following in a package deal:
-chrome lower spoiler/splitter on front fascia
-chrome bar that runs the length of the trunk
-chrome strips around all 4 windows
-chrome around front grille
-chrome slats in the grille
-front Mercedes Star (which, now that I think about it, probably can't be done because I have Distronic)
-chrome strip that runs the length of the rear diffuser
-apply blacked out rear emblems for free, if I supplied them
-let me choose any combinations of colors for the different pieces (matte, glossy, CF, body color, black, etc.)

...all for around $250-$275, depending on which colors/textures I choose.

How does that sound? Any recommendations? Anything you would change or leave alone?
Doesnt sound too bad considering the time you would spend doing it! If material is included not bad at all! Just make sure it is good vinyl and not cheap stuff.

Thanks for the parts number on the black star, I'm ordering mine tomorrow 😋

Also added this cool mod...an AMG Affalterbach emblem to the COMAND control knob, very subtle but classy touch.

Thanks---got it from eBay. They were backordered forever; I finally got lucky and ordered one as soon as they were in stock.

Quote: Finally got a chance to take some pics. Some minor cosmetic mods. My dipped wheels are holding up pretty good so far but I'm planning to redo them in the spring.

trunk spoiler dipped in black! Goes hand in hand with the roof spoiler

dipped the side mirrors covers in black.
I know I'm not in the white w212 club but how do I go about "dipping" my wheels, yours look really nice.

Thank you very much. Really appreciate the comment!
I wanted to do something to spruce up the interior. Next, I may be looking to upgrade to designo woodgrain.
