Thank you! Does anyone have MBrace? Is it worth it? Also, is there some aftermarket way to enable surfing and video while driving? Not for me obviously but for the Mrs. and passengers...

I have it, I like it. I pay for the basic package.
The internet connection is too slow to be useful but once connected it is nice. No, the video and other functions are blacked out while the vehicle is in motion.
No idea about anything aftermarket, a tablet would be far easier to use for video and a phone for surfing. The car is not a hotspot.

Thanks for the feedback. How exactly do you enjoy the basic package? Doesn't the basic only provide theft location, parking lot location and the like? Figured the extra concierge etc was the real cool feature. But a total of $50 monthly or $600 per year for all above seems a bit high.
I get the first 3 months and will decide if I keep basic, full or nothing.

I think you get the basic M'brace free for 6 months which is nice, and the M'brace plus only for 3 months (which is nicer ). Afterwards I believe the price is somewhere around $280/ year. You can test and decide for yourself which one is worth paying for. I doubt you'll use the MB apps for more than a handful of occasions in 3 months.

I pay for mbrace and plus, but not internet apps (too slow). i like the helpfulness of the drivers directions and concierge coverage for me and the mrs. anything, anytime, just like it should be ...

There are alot of posts on this forum of the Video in Motion mod, which will allow dvds wihle driving, Eco Start/Stop Auto Off when car turns on, and browsing while your driving.
Mbrace is truly a large expensive and quite unworthy proposition in my opinion.

I had an Mbrace subscription in my W211 since they offered me a lifetime deal for $280. I do not have it in my W212. Considering the capability of a good connected smartphone the cost of Mbrace is not justified.
