Purge valve issue

2010 e350, 2006 e350, 2006 C350, 2003 E320
Purge valve issue
Good day all.
issue. on 2010 E359 4matic approximately 60k miles. I had an intermittent failure at first but it became constant.
Diagnosed as the purge valve was defective, No big deal a 10 minute DYI fix.
The issue becomes one of the correct part.
Went to find the part all the parts stores on line list only 1 part a W0133-1894260. NOTE this may work if you have a E350 BUT if you have a E350 4matic not the right part.
It appears you need a W0133-1966638.
This part is associated with a ML350 of the same year.
Again none of the parts places ask if its a 4matic SO be sure your getting the right part a quick peak at the part and you can see which one you need. There is a major issue with the way they hook up and the E350 just wont work.
So hope this saves you all some distress.

well.. i can agree with you that the part to use is a 212 470 2493 That I can a agree with.
What i can tell you is this..
nearly every part source out there will try and sell you a 000 470 88 93 and say its for a E350 or a E350 4matic , I know i ordered one and it wasnt correct. now they say the part was for a E350 coupe.
as far as the 2124702493 working on a RWD car I dont know i have 4matic,
Very few if any that i found after market sources can even source the 2124702493.
What i did find is the part that looks identical to ths is listed as a purge valve for a 2010 ML350. That is all I am saying.
