Info about service
Hello everyone.
Im new user in this forum, and i wanted to ask a little advice.
I bought a MB E250 abouth half year ago, since then everything is wonderful, the car is great. I have 2010year, 150kw , diesel engine , universal , automat gearbox.
Mileage was 190000km when i bought it and now it is 202000km
I wanted to ask how often does this car need to change: engine oil+filter, airfilter, fuel filter and cabin filter? The cars assyst system shows B1 service, but from MB Service they said that it needs to have a bigger service. Now i dont know exactly what or who to listen.
And which one of services (A or B) is bigger and needs more detailed works to do in service?
Thank You

Here is MBUSA service sheet A = 1, 3, 5… / B = 2, 4, 6… (combination or dust filet = cabin filter).

Okay. Thank You
But one thing is what MB service wants, but i wanted to ask for car-owners themselves.
Specially E250, 150kw, diesel owners - how often do You change airfilter, cabinfilter and fuelfilter?
Also when does it need to change the automatic gearbox oil-filter?
Some say that its a lifetime oil or something, i dont believe it very much...

M-B's have two types of service - required and recommended. Required needs to be done as scheduled, whereas recommended is up to you.
This is where having a good relationship with an authorized M-B dealership's service advisor helps. He/she can recommend what you really need and maybe even delay some of the services depending on your use of car.
As for cabin filter, depends on how dirty the air is where you are, how many miles (km) driven, etc.
