Small access door on front bumper
Hi Folks... I returned to my car in a parking lot the other day and found the small access door on the passenger side of the front bumper hanging open.
Nothing broken, just hanging by the cable. There is a threaded hole behind it, for a tow hook I imagine. Should the tow hook be there, and it was taken? I can't imaging how this panel opened unless someone did it on purpose.
Thanks for your input..

You closed the door after I presume. It could open on it's own, the tow hook is in the trunk with the jack & tools and threads in there. No need to worry.

I am not able to confirm by looking at my tool kit as I am in Barbados and my car is in BC but I think the hook should be in the tool kit and not installed in the tow hook slot.

When the tow hook is installed, it extends beyond the fascia to prevent damage. That's the whole point of the tow hook being removable and the cover.

Yes, it most likely was not put in correctly and something cause the bumper to flec just enoughr to pop it out. no big deal. Just be sure you put it in crrectly.
