Service Required after 1 Year/3,500 Miles
What service is required on a car I bought brand new with ~200 miles 1 year ago? It now has ~3,500 miles. Even though I bought it new 1 year ago, it was a 2013 model. I had an oil change done right after I purchased it. I'm thinking I need an A service now. Please advice. Thanks in advance!

Exactly how many months ago did you purchase it "new?" Did the dealership sell it as a "new" car or as a demonstrator or other previously owned vehicle?
Dealer rep. may have been going by the age rather than miles. Technically your vehicle is two years old, so requires a "B" service. The "A" actually should have been done 12 months after the date you purchased the car "new."
Maybe they are considering the previous oil change as an "A" service since that is mostly what it is.
Suggest you speak with a Service Advisor and/or service manager at the dealership. Maybe they can do a "B" but credit you with cost of "A" that should have been done when they sold it to you.
Whatever, make sure no threat to warranty.

I just let the system tell me since they went to the FSS system.
The old cycles of the W124s were easy but now oil technology makes that unnecessary. Do the services the system tells you.

Dropped my car off this morning for service...service advisor informed me it should be time for an A Service.
The only reason I had an oil change performer at 200 miles was for peace of mind.
