Before I got this car, a 2010 E350 I had a 1998 C230. I got a good deal on an Alldata subscription for that car, I think it was around 25 bucks for 5 years. I traded the c230 in on the E after having it for about 2 years, and was recently looking around for another source of service information, and decided on a whim to email customer support at Alldata to see if there was anything they could do. As it turns out, you are allowed one free change of vehicle per your subscription period. All I had to do was send them the VIN and they swapped me from the C to the E. This is now the third vehicle I've had a subscription for and while they aren't perfect, it is nice having most of the service documentation all in one spot. Now I need to start going through all the different systems to see what's there. Color me happy on an otherwise crummy day.
