Wheel Problem!

Hey guys,

I have a brand new set on iforged triumph wheels that are 5x114 20x9 +35 20x10.5 +30 I want to throw them on my E350. I know they aren't the same pattern what are my solution beside trying to sell them. Theyre 3 piece wheels that cost me 4k, going to be tough auctioning them off to others.

Some companies might make adapters for you. I would just sell them and go to the classifieds and buy another sweet set of wheels.

Try wobble bolts here's a link to a video.
Seems like a great solution to the problem

Call me skeptical. The bolt shaft is allowed to float inside the washer with the only contact being the flat face of the washer and the radius of the bolt. I can't believe that doesn't move under continued stress. There's a reason the standard bolt radius is cone shaped.

I bought these wheels for my previous car, but I ended up selling my care before the wheels came in. It's a huge bummer of letting these wheels go. I guess I will give it a try to sell them in classified. If it doesn't sell how confident do you guys feel with wobble nuts. The name just sounds sketchy itself lol.

bottom line is, is it worth risking your life and your familys with these wobble bolts? the wheels are the only thing between your car and the ground. sell em and get the correct pattern. just my 2 cents.

Get them redrilled I work with wheels for a living 5x114 -> 5-112 is not much difference. What shops do is the drilled out the 5x114 holes to 5x112 and put a metal sleeve in. The hole shapes dont even change you cant tell.

Cleaned up thread lets keep it on topic and stop with the name calling its not necessary.

As for the OP's question if you paid 4k for the rims wouldn't someone gladly pay 2-3k for them? Then just buy a new set of rims for your car that are correct.
