[HELP] 2011 E350 Rear Shocks
My 2011 E350 Sedan needs new rear shocks as I hit 80k miles. Typically in the past, shocks have been an easy DIY fix but times may be a changing. I ordered replacement parts from Partsgeek.com then referred to my favorite how-to resource, youtube, but there is nothing on the W212. I pulled back the side panels in the trunk and I can't even locate the bolt from the top of the shock tower. I've looked for anything that would help on google but I'm coming up empty.
Has anyone DIY'd rear shocks replacement and has pictures they would be willing to share?
Cheers,
-D
Have you performed this task before? If so, was the top of the shock tower (bolt 8 in the diagram) accessible with only removing the trunk liner or was it contained within a separate compartment? When I peaked behind the passenger-side lining yesterday, it looks like I can see the top of two bolts (nuts #1 in the diagram).
Thanks again!!
