It continuously records for the first 6 hour in park mode and it does another 6 hours if there is an incident on the car, Meaning something was opened or the car was hit. It records all the time while you are driving as soon as you open the door and then when you park the car and close the door it records continuously for 6 hours

Installing the camera is really know how to just tap into a power source. But for your case however, if someone is breaking into your car, they could just take the camera all together.. it sounds like you need a camera to watch the car from the outside and not from inside the car..

it has a shock alert so it will call u when something's up,
and u can then listen in.
(u do need to buy a sim with it)

glad to hear you are happy with it.
I do agree that the design is very discreet, which is also my top priority for a camera.
however it's just too expensive considering the quality and especially if you do not use parking mode.
IMO in this case you might as well install a mini 0806.
maybe i'm a bit negative now, but i'm seriously pissed off :-)

Of course.
Settings via the pc software (the iphone app shows the values a bit differently)
BASIC:
- resolution: FHD @30 + HD @30
(ie the highest setting. Since u have a 650 I think u can choose from even higher resolution)
- brightness: normal +1
- normal rec: on
- voice rec: on
- date display: on
- speed: in KM
- rec file unit: normal rec 1 / event 1
- auto switch park: on
SENSITIVITY
- normal rec: all 3 directions insensitive +2
- park mode: sensitive -2
- motion detection: insensitive (in the app this would be “1”)
(I still think this is too sensitive though)
If you click on advanced settings you can check your
Settings against the recorded footage & make adjustments if needed.
WIFI ETC
- autonrun wifi: off
- login..
- rec led: off
- sec led: normal rec off / parking off
- voice alarm: all are on, except “starting event”
- alarm volume: large (ie high )
That’s it

remember that the wife shuts off after 10 minutes if unused.
but you just click on the wifi button on the cam & it starts up
again. the phone wil always automatically (re)connect.
I recommend that you use attached settings for your phone.
(they are for the iPhone but guess works similar for other)
this way the phone connects to the cam, but you can still use your
internet (ie receive email etc)
I'm interested to learn what your experience with the cam will be over time.

@Royce118
I just realised that you are talking about the F750,
while I gave you settings for my Blackvue... sorry!
I ordered the F750 yesterday & it should arrive somewhere end next week.
Will then let you know how I get on with it.

Yeah, I was indeed talking about the F750. No worries, do share your experience once you get it.

It's done!
Install was easy since the same as the BV, with the cables running under the door rubbers/trim
only difference is that my BV was hardwired in the trunk, but as the thinkware cable is pretty short,
I had to hook it up to the fusebox under the hood.
The cable is running from the under the hood, via the outside of the car (but under the body)
en enters on the drivers side (see pics).
To make the camera less visible I'm gonna change the grey 3m tape with black
and i will put black sticky foil on the front camera.
I also bought a black adhesive sun visor, but not sure if this will really hide the camera.
(I'll try it when i have some more time, as it seems a b*tch to install)
So far the camera works very well, but then again i only have been using it for a day...
It will be interesting to see how it holds up next summer!
I actually thought it would be bigger than it is, but it's not bad compared to
the BV (see pic)
A few questions/remarks:
- There's a light/soft static interference on the audio recordings (kinda like a mobile phone)
is this 'normal'?
- impossible to switch the led lights off? even in parking mode there are 2 blue lights....
- impossible to choose what kind of messages you want to hear; it's either on or off ?
- impossible to choose what kind of alarms you want to hear, or to switch off completely?
- why can't you switch of the parking timer? (+ the camera already has a function where
it switches off if voltage drops under a pre-defined level, so don't see the need for this timer?)
- they say you can upgrade the firmware via the iPhone app, but I'm unable to find this function?
- manual states you can change resolution of cams, but no such function exists on my
phone nor pc software?
Cheers
Egon

Nicely done. I'm thinking of going with the Thinkware as well. I didn't realize the cable wasn't long enough to make it to the back.
Can you post a photo of where you patched into the fusebox?

3 pics of cable from engine to interior
1 pic: my 2 fingers or on the fuses used (piggy back).
the fuse all the way at the bottom is 20 (yellow)
the one towards the top is 25 (brown) (the only 25 there)
I THINK the 20 is constant power (here you connect the red wire)
and the 25 gives power only when engine starts (here u connect the yellow wire) - but maybe it was the other way around....
last pic is where I grounded the black wire.
