humming from engine with unlocking doors
Hi all,
Have 2014 e3504matic with sport/lighting/keyless go packages.
I have noticed a loud humming/buzzing sound coming from engine(seems to be from/behind led headlights) when I:
stop engine, or unlock doors(even after car off for long time), or sometimes walk by the car.
The only thing that stops the sound within 1-2mins is locking doors. At this point the buzzing weans off like a siren(I think there are two humming as one tapers off after the other like a siren). Causing some anxiety as new to mercedes....Please help.

I got the same sound , i do believe it has something to do with the air condition unit
it dissapears when i lock the car.
the a/c fan(not compressor) running to dry out the a/c evaporator so there is no build up of moisture in the evaporator which could lead to a musty smell over time. Try turning of AC 1-5 minutes before stop, and the fan shuts off and never gets activated. Its completely normal

But the sound comes on for me when I unlock the doors after car has been off for long time..do you have lighting pack
