2014 E350 Wagon
Old inventory pricing?

Hello, I'm looking at purchasing a new 2014 or 2015 e350 wagon (yes, with current 2016 models out), does anyone have an idea of what type of discounts I should expect?

I've found quite a few 2014's and would think that discount would be STEEP, possibly 20-25%??? Is this crazy?

How about 2015's, has MB started to provide dealers with significant incentives to move this inventory?

Thanks for any help you can offer!

2014 E350 Wagon
BTW, this is my first Mercedes, I'm considering this and the A6 TDI...I've lived and breathed GM all my life, it's time to try something a German manufacturer.

2014 E350 Wagon
Okay, I spoke with a dealer today and he immediately started out at 10k off on a 2014 E350 wagon that was loaded $72k retail. Obviously there has to be quite a bit more room for them to move if they anchored that low. Any thoughts on what a reasonable counter offer would be? Should I be expecting similar deals on a 2015 considering the 2016's are out?

nearly 14% discount is pretty significant on an E350 wagon, even a 2014. i wouldn't exactly say that there will be 'quite a bit' more room to move. there's not a ton of wagons out there, but it really is more of a niche car. you could possibly try for another couple grand, but i'm not sure how much luck you may have. good luck!

Many dealers in CA will easily give you $10k to $12k off a 2015 without even negotiating hard. They treat the wagons same as the sedans here in CA.

Not sure where you are, but I would ask for more discount on a 2014 as that is now nearly 3 model years old. the 2016's are already on dealer lots.
