Advice on drilled rotors

E350 2010 50K miles- Seems to me it's time to replace brake pads and rotors. Would like to change rear standard/blank rotors by drilled ones (front rotors were originally drilled). Any recommendations on brand for drilled rotors, e.g. StopTech? Thanks

The best drilled rotors are drilled at the factory

Many sellers of drilled rotors buy solid rotors and then send to the local machine shop for drilling. I know Brembo and Zimmerman are factory drilled. I don't know about StopTech. Zimmerman is the OEM supplier for Audi rotors. Also, make sure the rotors are coated so that the hubs do not rust.

When I replace rotors, I replace with drilled because I like the look. Some will say that drilled rotor are prone to cracking, usually when raced at a track. I've seen no reports of this for quality rotors on cars aggressively driven on the open road. In fact, most high performance, and high $, cars come with drilled rotors (MB, Ferrari, Lambo, Corvette, etc.).

Slotted rotors are used by many folks who track their car but slotted rotors increase pad wear.

I've been using http://www.r1concepts.com/ rotors for more then 10 years on many of my cars. Great quality and decent prices. Just recently purchased their eLine rotors for the front - http://www.r1concepts.com/detail/pro...nz/E550/Base:/

Thanks @FCPEuro for doing your homework on the fitment. Just ordered a front set for my 2017 C63s. I've got hairline cracks all around the drilled holes from my time on the track and when I looked at the factory cost I almost ****** my pants. And these look like they'll be better than the OE.

Wow that has low miles......is your brake light coming on? If not........I'd wait. Why do you not like the drilled?
