perhaps most importantly, the nav screen still appears to be integrated, rather than the stuck-on afterthought that is in the C-class.

Thank goodness! Call me crazy but I find the nav screen plastered on the dash a little out of place and ugly. :nix:

I am not a fan. It is marginally acceptable, (and more prone to faults) if it least retracts into the dash like some other marques. The S class integration is very nice.

Looks like the new E will combine one of the S class screens to the center and analogue tach/speedo flanking an enlarged center screen.

We might have usable night vision and a decent heads up display finally

I was attending 7 series preview event. Not much exterior change, but there were some interesting interior updates, for example touch screen. Hopefully 213 will have it too
