Turn Signal Question (not working unless car is turned off and on)

I did not find any post discussing something similar to what I am experiencing.

This weekend, I took a long drive (4 hours all interstate) after about 2 hours, I notice the turn the signal would no longer work (small tap right or left or engaging the signal completely would result in nothing, no blinking light or relay noise).

I turned on my warning lights to check if it was a relay, but they worked fine. I stopped the car, turned off the engine, turned the engine back on and they worked fine after that. On the way back, same thing, about 2 hours into the drive, no blinkers, warnings worked. Stopped the car, turned engine off, then back on and they worked.

Any idea what this could be? Thank you in advance

This happened again today. Turn signal stop working. Wipers worked, brights worked. I turned the engine off and back on and turn signals worked again

Something gets reset. The dealer want to replace the entire module but they are not sure if this will fix it because they have not heard of such a problem. Also, no code present

When the turn signals stop working, does the hazard light switch work?

Yes, the hazard light switch works perfectly when this happens.

Does the exterior turn signal light still work even though the dash light/sound does not? Replacing the module seems the best course. Do you have CPO or other coverage?

No exterior light and no interior signal indicator showing. But a reset fixes everything
