Airmatic fault code C155664

Edit; I forgot, the headlight aiming and the door locks are also affected/controlled by this system as well and the car self-levels when parked and part of the overall reset procedure is called the Mercedes airmatic "rodeo"

Looks like electronic gremlins could also be Uncle Murphy favorite gift for your 2007...

Actually there are 2 of S-Class his belated daddy has, a 2001 and the 2008, naturally I will prefer 2008. 2001 the airmatic has "sunken", I do not know the actual cause yet and I do not want to know hahahaah

also the trunk and trunk handle is soft-close, so hooked in to the air system as well

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

Do you have a proper scanner able to read all sensors and modules on the airmatic and do actuation/bi-directional ?
The DTC is about pressure sensor and its easy to verify if value is weird, if you have the scanner I speak of

So if you read well, this wiki : https://w220.wiki/Airmatic
and that video I posted few post ago.......... you will have a VERY good understanding on how it works, hence I said it is easy, except when the computer/software side is the bad one and
erratic intermittent.
By action and reaction current to your airmatic, I would say when you scan the pressure, it is either short circuit or too high a pressure.
I do not know if today in 2023 this statement is still true or not : ( from W220 wiki )
Note that with all new Arnott AIRmatic struts you lose the electronic damping feature. While the new Arnott struts allow to plug in the original wire harness from the car, it simply fools the AIRmatic computer in to thinking the selective damping is functioning. In reality it is not and the shock has constant damping setting corresponding to OE "comfort/convenience" setting ("sport 1" and "sport 2" damping settings are not available).
Re-trace your repair timeline and see where does arnott comes in ?
