Painted Calipers 2016 E550C

Canada website simply refers to them as 'Sport Brakes'
Had a '12 E550C and the calipers were quite attractive when brand new but they were unfinished. Over time they became quite discolored and didn't matter what I cleaned them with as it was simply an unfinished surface.
Picked up my '16 E550C - yup same unfinished calipers - so I had them painted silver. I wanted to maintain the OEM look and just want them to look clean over time.
Used a a great shop in Toronto and they painted the hubs and clear coated the black cap with the MB signature. In and out in less than two hours.
Quite happy with the finished look - brake dust doesn't even to seem to stick to the calipers much - you can see the dust on the rims.

Caliper painting starts at $100 for 4 wheels. Special colors add $20
Charged me $40.00 extra for the big front calipers and extra masking and clear coat I wanted on the black caps with the MB logo. Then decided to get the hubs painted too - extra $30.00
In and out in less than two hours - no muss no fuss on my part - finished product perfect.
