So I reversed from 20" to 18" wheels

Just got tired of driving around thinking I could hit a pothole, and have a blowout at any time.

I probably should have only reduced to a 19" as I'm really not pleased with the appearance (not that 18" looks bad....just when you're used to seeing your car with 20s it's tough to get used to)

Don't know if anyone has made this downsize like me but it's more difficult than I thought. Still love my w212 but have to admit she's lost a little sex appeal

Sometimes I stress out about being on 18's...Had plenty of trouble with them.

Try using 17" for some time before moving up to 18". I'm sure you'll feel a lot better then .

I'm just going to have to run two sets, a set of 18's for long drives where I don't want to worry as much about getting stranded and a set of 19's for around town.

People do it on the East Coast all the time just instead of having a "Winter vs Summer" set I'll have a set for "Local vs Long Distance".

The offsets on my 20's never looked right to me anyways, too much poke in the rear(that sounded weird).

And you are planning to change your wheels every time you decide to take a trip out of town. Dude, you are very well motivated. I'll give that to you .

Ha ha....I don't think I'll be quite that dedicated. I'm thinking I switch back and forth based on whatever wheels I feel like rolling on but definitely use the thicker tires on longer trips.
