Oddly enough, the cheapest place I could find it was my local Mercedes dealer.

Just because a kleeman power kit is just a diesel power brand reconfigured specifically for a bluetec, doesnt mean its NOT a different product.

mercedes adblue FROM the dealer is not expensive enough to seek cheaper pricing; This is your dpf were talking about here.

Even buying BLANK DVDS back in the day you had to make sure you got 'made in singapore' or the damn things wouldve made half coasters by the time you used them all. Adblue thats been sitting around and has been discounted to a wholesaler or possibly buying it from the batches made in dirtwater podunk chemlab in bolivia....

spend the few extra. my last tank of adblue went WAY more than 10k. 27>40. 10k is supposedly average. I mean, and i step on it. What are you guys saving for =D

Myself I like to go to the nearest, high traffic truck stop where the big rigs refuel at. I feel that the DEF that is dispense there should be the freshest available per say without checking a bottle, box, or barrel for manufacturing date.

Should also be the least expensive for us "fugal" drivers of a MB diesel , a gallon per pump price is usually around $2.50 - $3 and per my experience on my E250, I use around 3.3 gals per 10K miles.

More than a 2.5 box from an auto part store or Wally's world, so 2 boxes would be needed to fill up the tank. I would not want to store an open box of DEF for any period of time either if you elected to top up the DEF tank. Shelf life and temperature comes into play with DEF. Shelf life could be shorter than 1 year in high storage temps

NOTE or TIP on some truck stop DEF pumps. They may need a MFPD (Mis-Filling Prevention Device) which has a magnetic mechanism within the adapter our E250's require on some DEF pumps. the Loves truck stop I go to requires this and at the counter, they usually have a MFPD which you can use to fill your DEF tank up.

Of course is does look a little funny with your little MB sitting in a row of big rig at the pumps filling up...
