W212 Front brake pads so easy to replace
I got tired of the brake dust so I got the akebono pads.
I just swapped them in. I did the back a while ago already.
Only hard part was figuring out how to get the spring on.
I was able to use the c clamp to bring it down and them push the middle part into the hole. Careful getting the spring off, it comes off easy and has a tendency to fly around. Safety glasses highly recommended.
As a bonus tip spray everything down with a garden hose before you drive your car in the garage, this will wash away brake dust so you don't breathe it in.
I think I replaced off the second wheels pads in no more than 10 minutes. First wheel took like 30 or 40 minutes so I could figure things out.
