Steering Wheel Leather Loose - Covered under Warranty?!

Hello MB World,

So just purchased a CPO E350 and doing my usual driving down the highway and i notice that my right middle finger on the 2:00 position felt the leather end seam sticking out on the back of the steering wheel?

It isn't a huge issue, but it is a minor detail that could drive a detailed oriented man mad.

Of course I went down to my local MB Dealership to have it checked out and hopefully warrant for a fix / replacement, but after pointing out the details to the service adviser, he shrugged it off as a minor thing but did request the technician to have it looked at.

Fast forward 9 hours later (btw work was killer that day)

Went back to see what may have come to this and the final result/statement;

"Since the stitching is firmly sowed in and because the leather seems to 'look'to be slight pulled out possibly by someone during general use, MB will not warrant this for repair"

Honestly, its not a huge deal, a little fabric glue and pointy modeling q-tip will fix the issue.

I honestly just wanted to put the information out there in case anyone else runs into this issue in the future + If anyone has run into the issue, i would love to hear how their experience was with the situation!

Some photos to gain a sense to my madness.

The back where the leather seam doesn't fully line up (notice how the gap is slightly larger)

Just saying its a Mercedes-Benz, shouldn't it be damn near to perfect !?

Thanks for letting me express my concerns MB World!

No, MB is far from "The Best or Nothing." It should be, but it isn't.
