Installed DTE Tuningbox and Pedalbox with great succsess on my 250CDI Wagon
The pedalbox makes the throttle response much faster and it feels like a brand new car.

I have an E550 and I am located in the USA.
I am very interested in this Chip Tuning item, is this a replacement for the ECU? or is it a plug and play addition to the engine management system?

It is NOT a replacment for the ECU
The pedalbox is also plug n play, just to remove the throttle pedal 2 pcs 13 mm nuts, take off the connector plug the connectors from the pedalbox to the pedal connector, and then you are ready

The Tuningbox is plug n play takes about 15 min tops. to install
It is NOT a replacment for the ECU

I will probablu tune mine either with bsr tuning or dte systems, dont know yet.
