Warranty extensions.

I used the search function and called the four dealer representatives that were mentioned and no one returned my calls. Have any members had any luck getting a fair price recently on a e550, mine is a 2014 with 6600 miles.

2011 E550
I paid about $2,500 to extend my CPO by 2 years on my 2011 E550... I did buy it when I purchased the car so they may have inflated the price to justify the "discount" I requested on the car (if I bought the warranty) or it may be a fair price.. i'm not sure.

I paid 2400 to extend my warranty on a 2010 E350 three years. Bought it a few months before the factory warranty expired. They had several options and a brochure explaining all. I'd stop buy, if they are close, or check their website. Don't know what a, "fair", price is as that is pretty subjective. For me the warranty has already almost paid for itself.

Give Marc a call. 5 min deal. Since you didn't buy within the first 30 day as the first owner, there will be a 15% surcharge (Although I thought I have seen someone quote there are 4 states which disallow the 15%.. not sure why it would be state regulated)

Anyways - yours is a e550 so I'd assume price would be different. Let me use mine as a reference:
E400, got it around 2K when MSRP is 2700. The dealers mentioned in this forum when you search are all good guys. There was one from Kentucky, Tafel (Jeff Johnson?) he is real nice and upfront with you as well. his quote was very much the same, on the lower end of 2K. sorry I am not sharing the actual amount, not that I don't want to. but I don't want to set wrong expectation when each car is a little different.

This I will tell you - the car dealer I bought my car was a total sleaze - PM me I will tell you the name. They maked the car way above MSRP and then took a couple of hundreds off as if they were doing you a favor. Like $4700 for 7/75,000. and used AMG MRSP price to quote 7/100,000 ($7100). give all mercedes dealers a bad name.
