I got the car back yesterday. I won't know for sure if it's fixed right away because it took some time to drop the last two times it happened (once 4 days once over night).
The papers I received from them state the following:
VALVE UNIT TEST
ON-BOARD POWER SUPPLY VOLTAGE MAINTAIN
AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM FOR LEAKS CHECK
VALVE UNIT OF AIR SUSPENSION REMOVE/INSTALL
I'll update the thread in a week or two to confirm if it's fixed!

Yeah I don't know what the regular cost would be ... all I know is i'm happy I paid $2500 to extend my CPO by two years!

Isnt that like the old saying "there are two types of motorcycle riders - those who have gone down, and those who will soon go down...."
"There are two types of airmatics - those which have failed and those which will soon fail". I know i've had a flat airmatic in my garage before.

I have 2007 R350 w/103K+ miles. Yesterday, message in console read: Vehicle rising, please wait.. (took about 15 seconds then said) "okay to drive away". 2nd time it happened was this morning. Rear end was much lower than normal. Is this a rear air spring issue, valve unit of air suspension or is there a major failure coming? Help!

After the blizzard that just passed my car was covered almost totally with snow for a couple days. When I finally got it out and started it up, I got the car is raising please wait message. I have never had it before and have not had it since. I chalked it up to the weight of the snow confusing the system.

It continued, and I had it "fixed" again this week. This is what my invoice states:
328550 AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM FOR LEAKS CHECK
1 212-320-38-25 PNEUMATIC SPRING
1 001-991-11-71 ATTACHMENT CLIP
328680 AIR SUSPENSION BELLOWS (1) ON RIGHT SIDE
OF 2ND VEHICLE AXLEREPLACE
Then below it states they did various tests to determine the "right rear air spring is leaking".
Hope that helps! My car is CPO so I do not know what this would cost out of warranty as my invoice just states "N/C"

So the original 'fix' didn't fix anything? Hope they got it done right this time. How long after the first repair until you noticed it drop again? Was it after the car sat for a few days like the first time?

I very rarely leave my car for more than 24 hours at a time so it may have persisted all along and I didn't notice... but they fixed it last in November and I noticed it dropping again at the end of January.
This time I had left it for about 48 hours and it was the lowest i've ever seen.
I'm not sure it's entirely fixed as they only replaced the right air spring and both sides had dropped, but there's a reason i'm not a Mercedes tech so I could be wrong!

Did they offer an explanation of why the replacement only on the right side? It would seem they should have done it on both sides, but I am not an expert either on how it works. Perhaps a drop on one side will bring the entire back end down once the system recognizes it's not working. Unfortunately it's not like it was happening every day so you can tell right away if it's fixed. If I had to bring it back again for the same issue, I would be very annoyed.

I recommended changing both and they said they didn't need to. They have been extremely accommodating so far and the dealer is on my way to work so it hasn't been annoying yet
