Passenger headrest OUT of CONTROL
I know the headrest will raise up when moving the seat back for additional room. I assume the thought is that if you need more leg room your are a taller person and would need the headrest a bit higher.
My car seems to have suddenly gotten a mind of its own or I just haven't noticed this in the past ~5 years of ownership. When my wife gets in and hits #1 seat memory to move up from the son the headrest continues to raise itself. We have saved her personal setting s couple of times with the lower headrest but it doesn't seem to help. If I move the seat forward / backwards the head rest only goes UP. I have to manually bring it back down with the seat controls.
My question is - does your headrest continue moving UP regardless of whether you are moving the seat up or back?

Completely normal. Up is always the safe auto movement.

Wow...had the car for just under 4 years and neither the wife or I hadn't noticed until the past few months. Granted, I rarely had passengers other than her but now the oldest boy rides up front and tends to fiddle with the seat.
Thanks gang - thought I had a problem.
