Differences between 2015 and 2016?
Can anyone tell me any differences between the two, besides pricing and current discounts?
It looks like, for one, the lighting package is different.
If this has been posted before, please excuse me, as I only recently have joined these forums.
As for lighting, there is the standard partial LED system and the optional full LED intelligent lighting system - the only one to have, IMO. The latter is clearly marked with the words "LED intelligent light system" beneath the lens cover, right under the outer lamp. You would not be disappointed with the full LED system; it not only looks great, it offers superb lighting when you need it !!!

As far as getting a 2015 model, what I'm thinking is that if I get it now, it will be almost a 2 year old vehicle, since the 2017s will be out by late spring or early summer, depending upon who you talk to. Yet, if I get a 2016, depending upon the difference in price, if I keep the vehicle a few years, the per year cost may not be too great a difference. Also, the 2015s may have been sitting for awhile, so the tires may have flat spots and there may be other issues since it has sat awhile. I'll need to look a bit more into pricing.
Unlikely that 2017s will be available in any quantity until at least summer 2017. They'll also be transacting at much higher values and with higher interest rates than the current cars, obviously.

I took the 2015, because I was able to cut a better deal on it, and they had one I really liked. They had 2016's in black and in white - the two colors I did not want. So, easy call for me.
Since the 2016's are just coming out now, your 2015 would not be seen as 2 years old for at least another year, and even then nobody but the dealer will know the difference.
As for the 2017, it depends upon whether or not you like the new style - which still hasn't appeared without disguise. Also, there will be entirely different drive trains, with the 2017 moving to I-6 engines, with a turbo 4-cyl as a base engine, IIRC. I am one who never buys the first year of any major element of my cars - body/platform, engine, driveline. The 2017 will hit at least 2 of 3, with a totally new body shell and new engine. I, personally, would either go with a 2015 or 2016, or else wait until 2018 to see how the new cars come through.

The media interface is also integrated for MY16 so no accessory cables are required; USB ports are in the console. Again, negligible difference vs MY15.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG

I like the 2014 with the 6-disc multidisc DVD player the best. Now that I have rear entertainment I need that multidisc unit, and not the single front player and single rear.
