Awesome! Thanks for the quick reply konigstiger. You don't happen to know where the wiring for the 3rd brake light are located do you?

I took the rear shelf apart and if I remember correctly the third brake light wiring runs up under the back seat right side bolster. Two wires together but my car is a 2010 model so it might be different on yours.

What are you planning to connect to it? If the light is out your warranty should cover it.

I just need to tap on to the wires to install a device to make it flash 3 times when you hit the brakes. Too many inattentive drivers in SoCal busy with texting & on the phones.

If possible I'd like to avoid taking the assembly apart. I just need where the wires run so I can install it from there.

In my car the bolster comes off by just pulling it up. The two wires are a flat cable and the harness may also be there. Not sure about this now...can't remember...
