I have a 2013 E350 and the up and down electric adjustment stopped working. The in & out motion still works - as well as the round and round ;-) LOL.

I just scheduled a service appointment, but was wondering if anyone has run into this before and has a simple fix.

I've never had it happen in my MB, but the car is still new. . .


I did have this issue in a Lexus LS400, but the lease ended before I bothered to fix it. Sorry I can't help you, but this does not sound like a common issue as there is nothing posted about it.

Apparently this is a known problem across many models and model years. I don't know how this has never been raised to the NHTSA, since an out of position steering wheel along with the airbag out of position as well seem to me to be a major safety issue.
