Just the luck of the draw. I have a GMC envoy and I get 12 on the highway and about 8 in the city. Before that I had another one that I got 22 on the highway and about 15 in the city. I had bad luck with this one. The MB gives me 33 on highway and about 18 city driving. But the MB has a crappy transmission. Very jerky. Every once in a while I have to bring it in for reprograming and then it works well for a while then gets jerky again. It is livable you just have to adjust to it.

I finally have a long trip from North Jersey to Delaware next week. It's about 250 Miles so I'll see what I can get MPG wise. Hopefully I can avoid any traffic but I might end up driving on New Years Eve evening which will kill any chances of good MPG.

In NY they have retardedly low speed limits (like a 50 mph limit on a road that would be 65 just about anywhere else)... but it's (usually) ok as they (usually) don't enforce them.

I was getting 18-24MPG on my 2004 Infiniti M45. Getting 28-35 MPG out of my 2015 E350. Once got 39 MPG out of the girlfriend's 2012 Passat, but that was under ideal conditions (45 mph, no traffic lights for one straight hour). Of course, I get the more fuel efficient vehicle when gas prices are low.

How is it holding up?
I usually don’t pay much attention to my gas mileage but I was really surprised last night. I went on a 3 hour trip last night and once i hopped on the highway i set my cruse control to 75 MPH. after half an hour of highway driving I looked at the mileage and it was showing 27.9 MPH and for the rest of the trip while I was on the highway it was over 27 MPH. I think this is great MPG for NA 5.5L engine. Just wanted to share …
The GLC isn't bad at all, but there's no replacement for displacement.👍
