OEM flat hood badge conversion that fits?
I know there are other threads about this, but I don't see the answer I'm looking for...
Has anyone found an OEM flat hood badge that will contour properly with the crease on 2012 sedan? I ordered the regular flat badge before thinking about it and now it's annoying me. I thought about making my own gasket out of 1/8" black foam, that would seal the edges and probably look OK, but now I'm seeing a lot of different OEM part numbers for flat badges.

Check return policy EPC shows 2128170316 not available for 2012 (code 802 on your MB data card) this may indicate it will not fit properly in addition, MY14 hood is different part # 2128800357.

Yes, thanks, I understand this part is not made for pre-facelift models, but I'm looking for the best possible flat badge OEM part to fit my 2012 hood which has a peak in the center, so the standard one that fits most MB does not sit properly flat. There is not a specific part for a flat badge conversion or original package on the 2010-2012 models.
