Dear ....
I'm from Israel and I bought a new E220 , 2015 , turbo diesel , WDD2120021B081329 .
I think I'M in the right place here, even if my E220 is not listed ?
How can I add DVD to my command multimedia screen ?
How can I add Internet to my multimedia screen ?
Thank you in advance
Moshe

Congratulations on your new car and welcome to the forum.
Can you tell a bit more about your car multimedia system since the options might be very much different in your country. Is there a slot for CD/ DVD at all?
What functions are controlled by your command control? Do you have reversing camera?
Is there internet service similar to M'brace (offered by MBUSA) in your country?
It is a moot question now but since you said it is a brand new car, why did you buy a car without first seeing/ testing all the available functions?
Adding / retrofitting a lot of electronic gizmos into a brand new car is not a good way to maintain warranty (notwithstanding the fact that it'll be hugely expensive and cumbersome).
If you use an iPhone you can try installing the "drive-kit-plus" in your car. I don't know if that is offered by MB dealers in your country. That will solve the problem of internet connectivity as well as music play back from iPhone. BTW who uses DVDs these days anyways.

I have USB plug and I use a Disk-On-Key for MP3 music too but I don't have any AUX plug

Ah..ha... I see a lot of problems have already been solved.
Let me get the problem with DVD straight. You want to play DVD as in watching movies on the central screen or listening to "DVD Audio" (which is already available as part of premium 1 package in USA). I have never tried watching DVDs in my car, but will check on that tomorrow.
I already know that Israel is right on top with regards to technology and cell phones
, my question was with regard to M'brace package which is offered in USA. This is independent of phone / sim card but requires subscription to MB of around $300 / year. But the internet apps in the M'brace package are worthless due to very slow speed. Not many of us I know have continued with that subscription after the trial period. So you are not missing much there. An internet connection via cellphone will be faster and much user friendly. This is where "drive kit plus" comes in. I don't know if it will work with Android phones or not. You can do a search on the web as well.
Isn't there a USB / iPhone connectors inside the storage area beneath the armrests (between the seats) in your car?
Hopefully someone with more technical expertise will chime in to help you out. Cheers.
