2012 E350 4Matic (Non-Eco Start) Electronics Going Haywire!!!
Ok so yesterday my e350 started going haywire. Many service/warning lights turned on (cruise control, abs, lane change warning, window wipers would not turn on and power steering was going out. After reading a few threads I thought it might be the battery so I had a mechanic swap the battery for a $180 aftermarket battery. That seemed to do the trick as for about 20 mins the car was back to normal. Then all of the sudden once again the warning/service lights come on and now the window wipers won't shut off! WTH!! Drove home, as shop was already closed the day before, the next morning (today) car turns on, engine runs, I cannot shift out of park to anything, seems all buttons in the car are useless. I then replaced the auxiliary battery with oem one from mercedes and nothing. Had to disconnect battery as even the headlights would not turn off.. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as I am skeptical about taking my car to dealer or mechanic as I am out of warranty and don't want to ripped a new one!

Is this one of those....needs a software update issue? I thought I read of similar issues to this but on newer models.
Seems like every search I just did mentions some sort of water damage.

Had an issue like this on my BMW - turned out to be water in the boot had flooded the parking sensor and was shorting the electrics out..
Not sure if that helps you or not but check around to see if you can see any water puddles!

It just appears you have multiple short circuits to light up the Christmas tree and kill switch functions. Sounds like water damage.
