Muffler Tip/Exhaust Conversion Question :D
Hey everyone, I am fairly new after lurking for a few days, I recently purchased a 2011 E350 W212 about 6-7 days ago.
I did a little searching with the search function to find the answer, but couldn't come up with anything
I'm currently looking to convert my exhausts from the circular/oval shaped dual exhaust to the more square exhaust I've seen on many other W212's
Does anyone know what parts I would need in order to make this conversion?
Is it a simple muffler tip and bumper swap, or will I need get a whole new exhaust system, and a new bumper?
hopefully all I need is muffler tips, and the stock bumper will look decent, but i'm willing to buy the bumper and exhaust if need be.
I also currently am looking some HID's that look as close to stock as possible for my halogen model W212, a retrofit seems a little beyond my scope of knowledge. any help would be greatly appreciated! thank you everyone so much!

So a little more research and the look I want for my rear is the sport setup, I currently have a luxury w212 and want to convert the rear to a sport exhaust.
Is all I need a diffuser and tips or would I need a whole new bumper and exhaust system as well? Assuming the lux muffler hangs lower? Has anyone tried this conversion at all?

I think you'd need the sport rear bumper because the tips are actually connected to the diffuser (not the muffler). On sport models the muffler ends in just a little pipe that sits inside the square tips. If you're gonna change the rear...maybe consider the AMG one if you prefer quad tips. Good luck!
