2010 E350, 2003 Infiniti M45,
Hello from Tucson

New member, but been a car guy for years. coming from Nissan/Infiniti.
Bought a 2010 E350 with 31k miles on it about a week ago. Love it so far.
Black with light grayish interior. due for B service end of may.

Just replaced the AUX battery. and followed a coupled threads to enable BT Audio.

I tried getting the Dealer here to upgrade the firmware but they tried telling me there is no reason to upgrade it and of course, these models don't normally come with BT Audio. More common in the newer models.

Guessing I have to complain about BT Phone issues and maybe then they will upgrade it.

Welcome. Sounds like you got BT audio working. You might be coming up on the 6 year service which include spark plugs in addition to brake fluid and B service.

Yes I did get BT Audio working. lots of info from the forums helped.

Yeah I couldn't remember after I made the post if it was A or B but the dealer after updating the owner records in their system mentioned it was the minor of the services.

There is alot of info in the Hidden Menu. Is there any benefit or issues with disabling audio features you dont use? (ie. media interface [iphone4connector] etc?)

Looking forward to learning more about the car and the forums.

Congratulations. I spent considerable time reading the Operator's Manual, COMAND Manual and Maintenance Manual for my car. Made notes and highlighted sections. Tremendous amount of information in them.
I did have my COMAND updated a couple of times under warranty and TSB's. Was having a problem with person on other end of phone understanding me. You might be too far out, but could try it as they were TSB's.
Brake system flush is part of B service, which is every other year or every 20,000 miles. Transmission probably should have been serviced at four years, but my dealer let me get by until 6 years due to low mileage.
Spark plugs were not part of six year service for my car. Might be an E550 thing.
Happy Motoring!

In the 2010 maintenance manual on page 35, it says replace plugs for all MB models (including E Class) except those with engine 642. Obviously you could wait if you are out of warranty anyway and replace at recommendation of mechanic.

Yeah The manuals are short novels of maintenance.

There have been only 2 owners and neither drove the car alot. But according to dealer no other service is due.
Only thing I can think of is brakes which I have one myself for years then got lazy and started taking the Infiniti to the dealer to be done. Now time to get my hands dirty again.
