When I bought my 2011 CPO, I also bought the two year extended warranty from the MB dealer. The description of what is covered is pretty vague and I'm kind of wondering now what exactly it covers. For those of you who have bought a CPO vehicle, what problems have you had that you were surprised to find were not covered by the MB CPO warranty?

 

One thing you can do to help is to have a good relationship with an MB dealership until the warranty expires. Sometimes the dealer will go to bat with MBUSA for you for one of those vague items.

Remember the CPO is an inclusive warranty - only what is listed in the terms will be covered. Still, it should cover most things.

 

This is the Canadian program, not sure if USA differs.

Anyone know if the information for MBUSA is the same/different?
I have a non-CPO still covered under original 4yr factory warranty, and want to look into warranty extensions.
