Night Package Window Trim W212?
I have a black 2012 E550 Sedan, I want to get the Night Package Black Window trim from a 2015 E63 Sedan to replace my stainless trim. Dealer quoted me $660 for all 6 pieces. Anyone have any online dealer suggestions that may be cheaper than my local dealer?
I don't want to vinyl wrap the molding.
Thanks in advance

Do they have something to black out the chrome handles on the 2012+? I miss the body-color (Obsidian) handles from my 2011... and don't want to wrap them, but they sure are annoying (and blinding, in the sun).

It's like everyone wraps the chrome with black vinyl. Has no one done this (buy the actual black window trim) and retrofit their older W212 Sedan?

I just spoke to a local plasti-dip spot about blacking out all of the chrome trim, my grill, and all of the emblems on my 2010 E550. They quoted me $220 to do all of it. And it's totally reversible. You can go gloss or matte finish.
Seems like the only way to go.

I've plastidipped all my chrome except for the window trim, not sure how I would do it because it wraps towards the inside of the door, meaning in order to paint it, the doors would need to be open.

Cars dirty, but got all the trim from an AMG "night package" installed. All 6 pieces were $600 at my local dealer. Install is easy as hell, took 15 minutes. Nothing to take apart. Just pull, remove and replace.

hey bro do you mind taking a closer pic. the sun and distance makes it hard to distinguish how it looks. 15 minutes? hmmmm I didn't think it would be that easy. heck someone should get your old trim and powder coat it or paint it black and reinstall it.

Once you pop one off, it is that easy.... Just used a pry tool, and the lower trim comes right off. The larger one that's the top part snaps off easily, the new one comes with new snaps, in the correct location. Just snap it on. Don't know about powder coating the oem....as it has the rubber seal attached to it. I just dropped my car off to get the paint corrected and sealed etc. full detail. When I get it back I'll shoot some better pictures of it.

No, not till I get the car back from the detail shop. Then the mufflers should be in too. Get it all done at once. As soon as I get it all done, I'll shoot a video of it.

Thx for the quick reply. I'm going to order the wagon trim parts w/ same "w/o avantgarde" description and will report back. Also prefer to keep it all OE vs wrap.
