How is your engine modified? Use oem plugs, HKS are garbage. The why part I'll tell you after how your motor is modded.

I am not familiar with the m271 engine, but it is recommended by most tuners for m157 to use oem stock plugs. I was considering the hks spark plugs at one point but decided to go with the oem plugs instead. In fact, I'm picking up my car now as I'm typing this with a fresh set of new orm plugs.

In addition to my E350, I also own a highly modded stock block Evo X. Many of us that tried them only had two out comes. It was either they created less power or the tips broke off in the cylinders causing valve and piston failures. A few weren't so lucky and their results were catastrophic.
We all use Oem plugs and have the zero issues. Many modded built motors use OEM. A few of those use a slightly colder plug for various reasons. My experience with them is its your car and your more than likely costly repair bill. YMMV
