Is 2013 350E bluetec emissions failing
Hi to all, I am new here so please forgive me if I asked wrong question in the wrong forum category.
I am looking to buy used 2013 E350 blue tec, asked dealer for carfax and see that the vehicle has 3 failed emission tests. Then read something on google about mercedes blue tec lawsuit because of the emission tests. So is this car still OK. to buy and will I be bothered by dealers and government to have this car fixed from my own pocket.

Mine, a 2011 but same engine, passes emissions every other year as it is supposed to.
So there is clearly something wrong with "your" car.
I would have the dealer fix the issue before you buy, or I would skip this car.
Regarding any future lawsuit, I am sure MB will take care of any issues.

The lawsuit is bull**** and has no merit. It's done by a money grubbing lawyer at a firm with a history of bull**** lawsuits. The only way a bluetec is failing emissions tests if if sensors are failed and alerting in odbII. They don't do smoke tests on modern cars, they just scan them.
