If you are interested in the exhaust note of an 2012 E550 4matic (4.7 TT) with a stock E63 AMG exhaust system (mid-resonator and rear mufflers), you might want to check out the following POV German AUTOBAHN Video.
100km/h = 62mph
200km/h = 124mph
The car is limited to 257km/h (160mph).

Actually my Ex-211 was a lot quieter even though it was a station wagon! The 212 has a lot of tire noise at higher speeds as well as wind noise. 2014+ Mercedes offered the option of acoustic glas as an option! A window then consisted of a sandwich (glas / plastic sheet / glas) instead of pure glas.
The gauges were changed a lot by Mercedes. 2010-2011 they used the same layout like in the video above, but without the colored display. 2012 was the only year with the setup like mine. In 2013 they changed the color-scheme from papyrus to silver. 2014+ became the CLS instrument cluster with the silver scheme (see CLS550 SB video in my signature).

Thx. You always show us what these cars can really do. I push mine quite hard every day but due to the speed restrictions over here I can't go much more than 90-100mph area without sticking out to much. Thx again for the share.
