2014 E550 is a one year car. First year of facelift body with last year of the glorious 550 Biturbo V8 engine. There are not many around, and with only 9K miles on the clock and every option, it's certainly worth keeping unless you are just in extreme desire for a visual change. You already have the best of everything. I'm sure the asking price at any dealer for such a rare low-mile car would be more than the buyout. If you're dead stuck on leasing (maybe business tax write off?) then there are credit unions out there that will "lease" you a used car. They buy the car, then lease it to you, and you have another option to buy at the end. They see this as a way of offering you lower payments stretched out over more years.

This is an amazing breakdown and really puts the rarity of his vehicle into perspective. The way you worded this...makes it a slam dunk to keep the car.

Definitely a great breakdown - Thank you!
Will definitely keep the car until E43's make is into the dealerships.

If you have a Penske dealership (preferably a Penske MB dealership, of course) and your car is still 9XXX miles, you can also get a full coverage warranty. I was able to do this earlier this year with my '12 C63 that had 9K miles, and it is a full coverage (no exclusions, etc) warranty for 7 more years through 2022. The only thing they advised me of was once you hit 10K it's no longer doable.

After seeing W213 on the street and not being able to tell it a part from the C-class, proceeded to purchase my wife's E550 from a dealer and was able to get a pretty good deal (MBFS would not negotiate lease buyout with current customers! )

No matter how nice the W213 E43 is promising to be, I will stick with TT V8!

To be fair, I can't tell the C class apart from the S class until you get closer and see it's shorter. Some still prefer the old line about "There's no replacement for displacement". It's all CAFE's fault.
